IPTV Pro — Cookies Policy
The cookies we set, why they're there, and how to switch the optional ones off in two clicks.
This is the short, plain-English version of how IPTV Pro uses cookies on iptvepro.online — what gets stored, for how long, and how you can turn off anything that isn't strictly needed. For the bigger picture on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are tiny text files your browser saves when you visit a site. They let pages remember small bits of state — your language, whether you've already dismissed the consent banner, which pricing tab you opened — so you don't start fresh every visit.
Some are "session" cookies that vanish the moment you close the tab. Others are "persistent" and stick around for a defined period or until you clear them yourself.
2. How IPTV Pro Uses Cookies
We keep our cookie use deliberately light. The IPTV Pro site uses cookies (and a bit of localStorage) for four things:
- Making the site work — pricing toggle, free trial form, mobile menu, consent banner state.
- Remembering your cookie preferences so the banner doesn't keep nagging you.
- Counting page views and watching for broken pages, so we can fix them (analytics).
- Measuring whether our ads bring the right people to the site (marketing — only if you opt in).
3. Cookie Categories
Essential
Strictly necessary for the site to function. Without them, the pricing toggle, trial signup, and consent banner all break. These can't be switched off.
| Name | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
cookie_consent |
Stores your accept/decline choice for the banner | 1 year (localStorage) |
Functional
Remember small UI choices — for example, which currency tab you picked on pricing, or whether you've already seen the install hint on the firestick page.
| Name | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
iptvpro_pref_* |
UI prefs (currency, plan tab, language hint) | 30 days |
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to see which pages get traffic and where visitors drop off. Data is aggregated and IP-anonymised — we can't pick out individual users from it.
| Name | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
_ga |
Distinguishes one visitor from another | 2 years |
_ga_* |
Per-property session state | 2 years |
Analytics cookies only fire after you accept cookies on our consent banner.
Marketing
If you've opted in, a small ad-conversion pixel lets us see whether someone who clicked an IPTV Pro ad later started a trial. If you decline, none of these are set.
| Name | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
_gcl_au |
Ad-click attribution (Google Ads) | 90 days |
4. Third-Party Cookies
A handful of third parties may set their own cookies when you interact with their widgets on our site. The big ones: Google (Analytics + Ads), and our payment processor (Stripe or PayPal) when you reach checkout.
We don't control what those companies set or for how long. If you're curious about specifics, their own privacy and cookie pages are the authoritative source.
5. Managing Your Cookies
The fastest way to change your mind on IPTV Pro is the consent banner — it reappears whenever you reset it.
Reset your consent
Click below to clear your stored preference. The banner will pop back up on your next page load and you can choose again.
Browser settings
You can also block or wipe cookies directly in your browser:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
Heads up: blocking everything will break the pricing toggle and the trial form. Essential cookies are essential for a reason.
Opt out of Google Analytics
Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to stop GA collection across every site, not just ours.
6. Updates to This Policy
If we add a new cookie, switch analytics providers, or regulations change, we'll edit this page and bump the "Last updated" date at the top. Worth a quick re-read every few months if you're particular about this stuff.
7. Contact Us
Got a question about a specific cookie, or want us to wipe your data? Hit our contact page and we'll get back to you within 48 hours — usually faster.
